Pandawa Beach
General Information
Well actually, long time ago in the past, this beach is well known to be one of the regions secret beaches. The reason is because of the location is hidden behind a mountainous area that secluded its location to the unknown. There are two cliffs surrounding Pandawa beach. One of them, carved into the cliff face the statues of the Pandavas and the Kunti goddess. Those are consisting of six statues from top to bottom are Kunti, Yudhishthira, Bhima, Arjuna, Nakula, and Sahadeva.
As time goes by, it is also known as a seaweed algaculture farm. The time goes on when more people from locals and foreign tourists aware of the the bach existence. Not long after that, it became a major tourist attraction especially for its water sport use. Pandawa beach also quite famous for various water sports such asĀ jet skiing. Another famous sports is paragliding which is possible from Timbis cliff to the beach.
History
Actually, there is a long history which made Pandawa Beach exist as it is today. It started as the name of “Kutu Beach” from the locals of Kutu villagers. Initially, led by Mr. Nyoman Mesir together with the indigenous villagers of Kutu, They were the one whom started it all the way. At first, they are the one who tried to to create a path to its shores for gaining access to the Pandawa beach. The main purpose to have this kind of access is for the sake of the local population in the interests of religious ceremonies or melasti and ceremonies other.
Actually, it lead to one another until after the access to the Pandawa beach formed. Following with other development potential with the cultivation of seaweed by the local community. It triggered another events which is improving the access or the road to make it better and representative by cutting the cliff. Soon as the time goes by, Pandawa beach became a destination for many local and foreign tourists to enjoy the beaches.

As the location, it is specifically in Kutuh Village, South Kuta District, Badung Regency.
